Hello, My name is Jennifer Mills. My love for history led me to teaching. I received my BS in Secondary Education : History from Slippery Rock University. Upon graduating, I started my teaching career at Lincoln Junior High in 2001...back when it was a Junior High School. After leaving education for several years, I returned to Lincoln in 2013. I received my Masters Degree from CU Boulder in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education in 2018. I have taught, Geography, World History and American History. My role this year is teaching 8th Grade Social Studies (American History) as well as ELD (English Language Development) Building Support Person. Aside from teaching Social Studies, I will also meet with small groups of our hard working emerging bilingual students to help students navigate their classes and continue to build upon their English acquisition.
