Hey Lancers!
I'm Ms. Guilbert and I have been a part of the Lincoln family since 2023. I teach 6th and 7th grade math, English language development, and support many of our multilingual learners in their content classrooms.
I am originally a Michigander and went to college at Michigan State University (GO GREEN!) where I got my bachelors degree in elementary education, environmental science, and Spanish and have endorsements in Mathematics, Science, and ELD. I also have my Masters of Arts degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education and graduated in 2021.
I have been teaching since 2009 and have taught in both elementary schools and middle schools and most recently taught 8th grade science and math in Greeley, CO at the Bella Romero Academy prior to joining the Lincoln family in 2023. I have found my home teaching middle school and really love teaching math, science, and language acquisition. I'm excited to have the opportunity to support many students in those classes, and others, this year!
Outside of my school life, I spend most of my time with my husband and two young kids, Felix and Maeve. I love to travel and visit other countries, and I especially love exploring other cultures and communities through their food. I am definitely one of those people who takes pictures of their epic meals. I also love to cook, but let's be honest, the real joy is eating! When I'm not cooking or eating, you can find me outside walking or riding my bike, reading, crocheting, or painting.
I can't wait to get to know you all! Looking forward to a great year!
