I am very proud of the way our Lincoln students have started the school year. Thank you to our parent and guardian community for your guidance of our students and giving them the opportunities to have a great school year.
Our Lincoln staff has also started the year off with such enthusiasm and determination. We love having our students back in the building. With the elevated temperatures outside, we are thankful our air conditioning units have been operating throughout the building. This year, Lincoln is focusing on the Lancer Way and continuing to build our community of learners throughout our International Baccalaureate program. We are looking forward to partnering with parents, guardians, friends, and family to meet our goals around each of our focus areas.
Our Lincoln teachers are focusing on excellence throughout the building. It is nice to hear students talking about their positive choices in and out of the building. We are hearing and seeing the positive attitude and effort in classrooms around classwork, attendance and participation that is representative of our Lancer Community. We appreciate your support at home encouraging students to take on challenging work, projects, and tasks, when they have the opportunity. This will continue to assist students in reaching their goals of excellence.
Along with our focus of Lancer Excellence is our attendance goal, “95 to Thrive.” Students need to be at school 95% of the time to thrive in their classes. We will continue to celebrate students for their attitude, effort, and attendance. Please let us know if there are obstacles keeping your student from attending or if there are resources, we can provide to ensure your student is attending. We want every student to thrive!
Thank you for your encouragement and support for our Lincoln school community!
