Hey Lancer family!! My name is Mr. Colon and I will be your new Physical Education teacher. This will be my fourth year teaching P.E. Previously I taught at Milliken Middle School for the last three years before making the switch to Poudre School District. Middle school will always be my home in education. There is no other grade level I would rather teach than middle school.

Before teaching I attended CSU and got my bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Science. I use this degree to help instill healthy lifestyle practices in all my students by showing them the benefits of living an active lifestyle. Along with being physically healthy, I also spend a good amount of time in my classes advocating for better mental health practices. I truly believe you can’t have one without the other. 

My life outside of school tends to be consumed by spending as much time as I can with my wife, our son, and our two dogs. We love to do pretty much everything and anything outside as often as possible. 

I can’t wait to begin my journey here at Lincoln. Let’s have an amazing year together!!
