The Broadcasting Class is open to 7th and 8th graders. Students are responsible for all elements of KLIN news. They create the stories, film, and edit. They learn to become constructive critiques of their work and the work of their peers. They are asked to step out of their comfort zones and develop a news broadcast once a week. The mission of KLIN is to promote a sense of community, kindness, and information through a detailed and well thought-out broadcast.
KLIN news analyzes other professional broadcasts and storytelling methods to help develop a broadcast that supports the mission of KLIN.
