Newcomer Program
Newcomer classes are designed for students in the early stages of learning English as an additional language.
Typically, first year newcomer students attend newcomer core classes with emphasis on language development and grade level encore classes. Second year newcomer students attend newcomer English and transition to grade level courses as their English abilities grow.
Courses: Newcomer English 1 and 2, Newcomer Math and Science
The beauty of the newcomer program is that we put student schedules together or make changes based on what we see in the classroom. We work with both the student and the parents when creating schedules that best fit the student.
