I have been a proud Lincoln Lancer since 2023! I grew up in Colorado Springs, about two hours south of Fort Collins, and moved north to attend Colorado State University (Go Rams!). I earned my undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts with concentrations in creative writing and education. I loved CSU so much that I returned to complete my graduate degree in education as well.

This year, I teach 7th and 8th grade Language and Literature, as well as 7th grade AVID. I have a deep passion for working with middle school students and helping them reach their fullest potential—both in and outside of the classroom. I bring over ten years of experience at the middle school level, including several years teaching English and AVID in Greeley, Colorado, before joining Lincoln.

I enjoy sharing stories and photos of my family: my husband, our toddler, our border collie, one-eyed black tabby cat, and leopard gecko. In my free time, I love hiking, reading, writing, and enjoying a cup of coffee. I’m grateful to live in Northern Colorado and feel lucky to teach at Lincoln!
