I am a second generation Colorado native and have lived in Fort Collins most of my life. I have a B.S. in Natural Sciences from Colorado State University and a M.A. in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity from University of Colorado Boulder. I have 3 boys who are all Lincoln alumni and a crazy orange cat named Murphy who is kept company by an adorable but mischievous long haired Maine Coon mix named Pepper.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, cooking, and reading. I'm currently driving my family crazy by repainting all the rooms in my house.
