Hello! I am excited to be in my second year as Lincoln's school social worker. My family and I moved from Albuquerque, New Mexico in August 2017. Before moving to Fort Collins, I worked for fifteen years as a school social worker in Albuquerque Public Schools. Before accepting a job for Poudre School District in 2018, I worked as an outpatient mental health counselor at Heart Centered Counseling in Fort Collins and as a behavioral health specialist at Centennial High School. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. We enjoy camping, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont. I received my Master's in Social Work from New Mexico Highland's University.
I love combining my experience as a mental health professional with my love of students. I especially enjoy teaching social skills and social emotional curriculum, and value the opportunity to help students address barriers that may be impacting their learning.
I love to read, exercise, spend time outdoors and hang out with my family.
I love being part of a team of dedicated and motivated individuals. The Lincoln staff has great school spirit, and encourages all students to meet their potential. It's a great place to work!
