Michaela has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and Economics from California Baptist University where she was Political Science Student of the Year. She also has a Master’s of Arts in Education with an emphasis in ESL also from CBU where she graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors). She taught in the same school as her husband (Mr. Bent) for eight years before moving to Colorado. Now, Michaela has taught in the Poudre School District for the past 12 years (and one year in Thompson School District circa 2004/5). Although Mr. and Mrs. Bent are no longer married… they share a beautiful daughter, London Bent, who is eight years old this year. She is a world traveler attending a world language emersion school. Michaela is now remarried and technically Mrs. Bent-Kennedy. She also has three handsome stepsons. Michaela is so excited to be teaching Cultural Dance again this year along with 8th grade U.S. History!
