My name is Joanna Kilpatrick, and I am so proud to be a Lincoln Lancer!
I am originally from northern Wisconsin, but I've moved around quite a bit since. I went to college in Winona, Minnesota; lived in Namibia, Africa for a year; taught in rural Wisconsin; moved to Ulsan, South Korea; went back to Madison, Wisconsin for graduate school; and finally ended up in Fort Collins, Colorado. I am a lover of language and a true believer in the power of words. I love teaching young people to be thoughtful, intentional, and excited about reading, writing, and speaking.
Saint Mary's University of Minnesota - English Education, B.A.
University of Wisconsin-Madison - Multicultural Education and English as a Second Language, M.A.
I enjoy cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, camping, weight-lifting, reading, wood-carving, cooking, traveling, spending time with my husband, puppy, friends, and family.
