I began my teaching career in the 2000 in Denver Public Schools. My wife also teaches in PSD at Bauder Elementary School. We are raising two kids who attend school in PSD, and will eventually attend Rocky Mountain High School. I was raised in Ohio, but today I call Florida my second home as my parents have resided on the gulf side of the state since 1999.
I attended Ohio University for my undergraduate work, where I received a bachelors degree in Environmental Geography. Some of my favorite books are mysteries written by Stephen King, Carl Hiaasen, and Dan Brown. However I also love musical biographies, and historical fiction!!
Throughout summer and on weekends during the school year, I'm often on my mountain bike riding the miles of trails in the Larimer County foothills parks. I also enjoy playing racquetball, tennis, guitar, and playing with my two energetic kids.
Lincoln Middle School has terrific students who bring their unique personalities and interests with passion to middle school every day. The students at Lincoln Middle School bring their positive energy that keeps me passionate about teaching Social Studies in our great community of Fort Collins.
