She is beyond thrilled to be back at Lincoln Middle IB World School where she will support students and staff. Outside of school Lisa is a tutor for English as a Second Language students throughout Fort Collins as well. She enjoys reading, hiking and attending local concerts and music festivals.
She enjoys supporting students because she knows making connections with others brings out confidence, self advocating skills and supports community as a whole. Introducing the value of education to students is what drives her to be there for them.
Lisa most enjoys Russian novels and short stories with War and Peace and Crime and Punishment at the top of her list. The Good Earth by Pearl Buck,The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and Homers The Iliad are in line as Lisa's favorites. She also reads a lot of middle school books which she feels enforces connections with students too.
Lisa has 4 adult children and is the the proud grandmother of a sweet 4 year old and 8 month old granddaughters.. Outside of school Lisa tutors English as a Second Language students throughout Fort Collins. She enjoys laughing, reading, hiking, camping cooking and attending local concerts and music festivals. She is always happy to see our students out in the community, so if you see her please say hello!
Lincoln is such a welcoming place to be and focuses on relationships between educator and student, and she really likes being a part of what makes it special.
