I am so excited to be back for another amazing year at Lincoln! I teach band, choir, orchestra, and drama and I am a 7th grade advisory teacher. I previously taught middle and high school performing arts in Winter Park and in Greeley. I received my degrees from CU and CSU (but always GO BUFFS!!!!!). My musical journey started with playing the piano in elementary school and oboe in middle school. Now, I can play every instrument in the band and orchestra! Music has brought me opportunities all over the world! From teaching at a camp in New York, to touring and performing around Spain, to playing in Carnegie Hall, music has given me some of my greatest life experiences. I hope that I can inspire a life long appreciation of music in my students, so that a world of possibilities can be open to them too.
When I am not teaching, I spend time with my husband, baby boy, and two dogs. We love to ski and to spend as much time outdoors as possible! You might have seen me and my husband buy our first house on an Episode of House Hunters on HGTV! We also have a small pie business that sells pies at the Loveland Farmers market in the summer.
University of Colorado- Bachelor's Music Education
Colorado State University- Master in Music
I love making connections with my students and seeing them grow throughout middle school and beyond.
Les Miserables- Victor Hugo and Yes, Please!- Amy Poehler
I generally love to read Biographies
When I'm not teaching I love to ski, bake (I have a pie business!),go to the theater, and do anything outside with my husband, son, and two dogs.
Lincoln has the best community of any school I have ever taught in. The children are very personable and every teacher is invested in making sure every child is safe, happy, and successful at school.

Band, Choir, Orchestra, Drama and 7th Advisory
We learn by doing! Students are always actively participating in class and are expected to bring their instruments home to practice. I like to incorporate peer teaching and emphasize the collaborative nature of making music.
