Hello! I am the 7th grade counselor and this is my second year at Lincoln. I am so honored to be a part of the Lincoln family and look forward to another wonderful year! I have previously worked at Dunn and Putnam and love that I continue to see so many familiar faces as we take on the adventure of middle school. I am originally from Kansas where I worked at a K-6 school and moved to Fort Collins 5 years ago when I started working at Dunn and then added Putnam the following year. Before becoming a school counselor, I worked for a non-profit mentoring group based in schools.
I have a 5 yr old son who keeps me busy and laughing. He and I love to explore hikes and parks together and play endless games of pretend. I also have a pug, Gus, who is 12. Outside of school and chasing my 5 yr old around, I enjoy running on paved and unpaved trails, kayaking, sewing, camping, cooking, being with friends and exploring all that Fort Collins and Colorado has to offer.
Bachelors of Science at CCC in McPherson, Kansas

The reason I am a teacher is because: I believe in people, especially kids. I believe everyone has a story to tell and the ability to be a person that changes things for the good. I believe everyone should be valued for who they are and where they come from. I want all people to feel loved and supported. I want to help students find who they are and trust in themselves.
I love being a part of Lincoln! It is diverse and inclusive and creates a family for both students and staff. All people are loved and supported. It is such a great place for students and adults!
