Clubs
Drama - In class and after schools practices. Students put on one play and one musical each year, as well as short skits at other school events.
Homework Help - This is a voluntary, drop in program offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 3:45.
Lincoln Jam - The “Lincoln Jam” is a continuation of the “Lincoln House Band” which was started in 2010 at Lincoln Middle School by the Kids Create The Music Foundation. Through creative fundraising and support from the Lincoln faculty, we’ve been able to continue the momentum started by the “Lincoln House Band” and have created the “Lincoln Jam” for the 2011-2012 school year and beyond. The “Lincoln Jam” is a select group of advanced musicians who play non-traditional musical instruments that typically don’t fit into band or orchestra programs at the Middle School level, such as electric guitar, bass, drums, piano, keyboard, etc. The Band members will be chosen by an open audition in the fall of each school year. The band will also use Lincoln students for videography, sound technicians/road crew, and Lincoln artists will create artwork for the band.
Open Studio - Students are invited to come and work in the art room after school. They can try out new materials or work on existing art projects. They are also welcome to work on other school projects that might require a more artistic touch. If a consistent group forms, there is potential to do group projects.
